Dane Pymble and Aadil Abbas are co-founders of Own Financial Planning, a goals based financial planning firm focused on helping time poor professionals and business owners gain clarity and confidence with their money. Dane entered the world of finance in his early 20’s with no formal education, rather pouring his energy into reading every investment book he could get his hands on including those written by Warren Buffett. An early career milestone he achieved whilst climbing the ranks of one of the big four Australian banks was becoming part of an investment committee responsible for managing over 1.5 billion dollars in client funds. Dane joined forces Melbourne based mortgage broker Own Home Loans and Aadil. Aadil is a qualified financial planner, chartered accountant and certified financial planning specialist. After meeting at a business event they partnered to launch @ownfinancialplanning @ownfinancialplanning today helps these same professionals and business owners develop a consistent and structured approach to their money linked to their life goals/events which allows them to strike a balance between planning for their future, and career whilst enjoying the present. Together these two gentlemen form a unique partnership with diverse experiences. Aadil had the opportunity whilst growing up to live, work and study abroad in India, Dubai, Switzerland and Singapore making him a global citizen. He has a strong understanding of different cultures attitudes towards, wealth, family and financial freedom.
