#18 Donny Singe: Building a Championship Culture

From a military training foundation in the mid-1980s to a 20-year career as Head of High Performance in the NRL at the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, Canterbury Bulldogs and New Zealand Rugby League. During his time with the Sea Eagles Don Singe worked with an elite coaching crew that brought the club an incredibly successful era. Helping the club transition from the unsuccessful merger that occurred during the NRL’s rationalisation process between North Sydney Bears and Manly Sea Eagles in the early 2000’s. Don has spent his life in a career of professional leadership positions. Specialising in getting people to reflect with frank and honest self-appraisal methods to provoke their thought into action and their curiosity into realisation. Using physical and mental development strategies based on applied experience and study, Don has led teams to several championship titles in a number of sporting codes. Don has now made available his practice of personal and professional development and management skills via professional workshops. He teaches organisations from diverse industries about building and supporting their individual human assets through unique corporate support strategyies. Don specialises in high performance delivery through personal wellbeing practice. This is delivered through group seminars and 1 on 1 personal coaching. Don is now head of performance with the international Sports College Australia (ISCA) a sports management diploma with an emphasis on coaching and athlete performance. Don is also currently an associate with the National Rugby Leagues’s Polynesian and well-being department.
